Halloween falls on Saturday, October 31, 2026. This guide covers the two things most households shop for: something for the yard and something to wear. The picks come from two stores, Aosom for light-up yard inflatables and Abracadabra NYC for costumes.
How we chose. We have not handled these products. We picked them from each store’s listings using the price, the store’s own customer ratings and what was in stock on October 4, 2026. Aosom’s ratings come from a small number of buyers, so we show the number of reviews beside each rating. Our usual standards are explained in How We Research and Choose Products.

Order early, and check the delivery date
We could not confirm delivery times for either store. Before you pay, look at the delivery estimate at checkout and make sure it lands well before October 31. Costumes sometimes need an exchange for size, so leave time for that too.
Setting up yard inflatables safely
- Plug into an outdoor outlet with ground-fault protection (GFCI), and use an extension cord rated for outdoor use.
- Stake and tie the inflatable down as its instructions show, and take it down in strong wind.
- Keep the fan’s air intake clear of leaves and fabric.
- Keep it away from candles, fire pits and heaters.
- Run cords where trick-or-treaters will not trip on them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these the lowest prices?
We did not compare prices across other stores. These are the prices each store showed on October 4, 2026.
Why do the Aosom picks have so few reviews?
Aosom’s ratings come from buyers on its own site, and seasonal items collect fewer reviews than products sold all year. That is why we list the number of reviews, so you can judge how much weight to give each rating.
Can inflatables stay out in the rain?
Several of the listings describe the inflatable as waterproof. Check the product page for the one you choose, and follow its instructions for wind and storms.
The Bottom Line
For the yard, the 7.5-foot Haunted Tree has the most buyer reviews of our six and sits in the middle on price. For the lowest spend, the 6-foot Skeleton Ghost was the lowest-priced when we checked. For costumes, start with the size chart and order early enough to exchange.
